“¡Hola!” is the Spanish interjection that is equivalent to “Hello!” In Colombia, a South American country, it has two uses:
1. ¡Hola!
“¡Hola!” is used as a familiar greeting between people of the same social condition.
2. ¡Hola, hola!
This repetition is the equivalent to ‘Don’t bother!’ or ‘Don’t do that!’
